Talk:Fey

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'm a little new to this Wiki thing, but shouldn't this be broken up into several seperate pages and replaced by a simple disambiguation page?

Definitely. The Mexican pop group article needs to be separated, you're exactly right. -Apol0gies

Did a simple split. Still doesn't look tidy though. (shouldn't complain but am not Wiki enough to do the edit).

Corrected the opinionated "erroneously (correctly = fay)" entry. The words "fey" and "fairy" do not have set spellings (two of the few words that don't), perhaps because of the mercurial nature of the entities described by said word, nor has any group of authority stated as such that one version of spelling is correct (the word appears in many dictionaries under different spellings), besides the fact that language is mutable and, hence, not necessarily confined to one's spelling preferences. Personally, I use "fey" and never "fay," though I've seen many people use both. -Iro

Switched the village of Féy from Alsace to its current resting place of Lorraine. Let's not get our Féys mixed up now. -- Mille sabord 23:45, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

About Fey the singer: I'm no expert, but isn't she Mexican? That's what her Wikipedia page says, anyways, but she's listed here as Honduran. Shouldn't they match? The Houston Chronicle on June 18, 2005 (via LexisNexis search) refers to her as a "Mexican singer," so I'm going to change the references to "Mexican" instead of "Honduran." However, if anyone has any evidence to the contrary, feel free to explain and change it back! Kingka 01:35, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
