Oh my god, who wrote this? I'll try to find time to edit the text, to edit a LOT of text. My primairy attention is to remove the text on female development. Recent research has pointed to Wnt4 as a transcription factor that induces female development, instead of the previously mentioned "default pathway" (absence of testosteron=female). May I suggest a merge with Intersexuality? or Sexual differentiation? Chbse 09:41, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

I'd recommend against a merge with either of those articles (intersexuality addresses non-standard development, and sexual differentiation focuses on much more than anatomy. I have added an initial reference to Wnt4; further expansion would be welcome. --Arcadian 02:49, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
I agree, differentiation focusses on normal differentiation. Still, adding chapters of 'normal differentiation' to intersexuality articles would be a fine addition to intersexuality articles... Well, I'll try to find time to help expanding this article. We'll try to make it the best we can, right?
