Festival of the Wayuu Culture

The Festival of the Wayuu Culture (Spanish: Festival de la Cultura Wayuu) is a festival in Colombia, celebrated in the town of Uribia, Department of La Guajira. It takes place from May 31 through June 2 of every year.[1]

It is considered the main cultural event in the Department of La Guajira and of great importance for the Wayuu ethnic group, which also travels from the Venezuelan state of Zulia. The purpose of the festival is to promote the expressions, socialization and interaction of the Wayuu culture.[2]
