Festival da Canção 2007

Festival da Canção 2007 was the show in which Portugal selected its entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007, to be held in Helsinki, Finland in May 2007. Unlike the 2006 Festival, the results were determined by 100% televoting on the part of the Portuguese television audience, rather than in 2006 where the jury gave 50% of the votes, as did the televoters. Ten successful Portuguese composers were invited to send in 1 song each, although the choice of performers was up to the composers themselves. The Festival was held in 10 March in Pavilhão Atlântico.
