FESTA Ltd. was incorporated on 13.06.1991 in Varna. In 1997 the company developed into a joint stock company, and in 1999 it was re-registered as a holding joint stock company - FESTA HOLDING Plc.
Since its establishment and currently, the company has implemented a number of business projects in ferrous metal trading, fuel distribution, wine producing, tourism and banking, has acquired attractive real estates and taken active part in the privatization process.
Some of the most successful investments of the company are:
Acquisition of the majority share capital in some companies of national economic significance, like:
- Invest Bank Plc, Sofia - in the banking business;
- Black Sea Gold Plc, Pomorie and Vincom Plc, Bourgas - both of them leading Bulgarian wine producers.
Acquisition, setting up and managing some companies of regional economic significance, like:
- Lazur Plc, Varna - involved with trading and services, running a chain of retail outlets, warehouses and restaurants;
- Trading Centre Plc, Varna - owner of 3 700 sq. m. in the city center. This plot will be used to build a trading and entertainment complex;
- Festa Holidays Plc - with basic activity building and management of tourist sites along the Black Sea coast;
- Festa Security Ltd. - involved basically with providing security for the company's sites.
