Someone just vandalized the page from 216.11.202.212, and deleted all the content that was there. Google got a snapshot here though before it was vandalized. Please delete any edits made from this IP.

[edit] ABSTRACT ARTIST??

To assert high up in an encyclopedia entry that Botero is an "abstract artist" strikes me as absurd, and renders the term "abstract" meaningless.

In a particular context, it might be fine for an art critic/historian to make such a counterintuitive assessment (and we have no footnotes for such a declaration here).

But on this brief page, it only serves to mystify the artwork. And there is no useful purpose in doing that.

I suggest this line be struck or altered.

[edit] The Changes I Made Were Reversed by a ROBOT!!!

Please, someone else - a real person? - review those changes and see if they can be reversed. I don´t want the ROBOT to think I am spamming and until I find my password I may as well not contribute any more to Wiki.

PS: There´s no way Botero is an Abstract artist, though some of his early work relates to the abstract expressionist period that was big and which perhaps influenced some of his art then. 200.118.102.88 (talk) 22:36, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
