I don't understand this: Acknowledged and accepted, he received the order of Léopold. What order, and by whom? Léopold II of Belgium or Léopold III of Belgium? Lupo 07:44, 25 Oct 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Order of Leopold
Named after King Léopold I of Belgium. It is a decoration awarded for extreme bravery in combat or for meritorious service of immense benefit to the Belgian nation. Recipients need not be Belgian nationals. Wunderfemme 07:19, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Should not be written in present tense
It is not customary or grammatical to write a description of past events in the present tense. It makes it irritating to read. I have corrected one section of it, including correcting some spelling and other grammatical and stylistic errors, perhaps others would like to share the work and do the other sections. 80.2.204.92 (talk) 13:30, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
