[edit] Older Colleges
Fergusson College is the 3rd oldest college in Pune, both the Deccan College and COEP are older, see their respective pages. Kalpak 18:24, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Alumni
Z.A. Bhutto was never a student of Fergusson College, what is the source of this rumour? Kalpak 18:19, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Events
Is this really notable enough to warrant such a large section in the article? In any case, the language in the section reads like a college magazine article, and certainly does not seem suitable for an encyclopedia. So if the other editors don't mind, I'll prune this section down to an appropriate size. --Kunal (Talk) 20:10, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, what I plan to do with the events section is to cut it down to a single paragraph that merely mentions the cultural and department events organised by the college. Since this is quite a drastic cut, I'll wait for a further couple of days to see if anyone has any objections.

I'm wondering if you could add references to when each of the events has been running and for how long. I personally feel that events could be a bigger section. Afterall, events are part of the identity of the college. I'm sure many of the people who started Oorja would be very happy to see how long it's been running for.
[edit] Botanical Garden
When I was a student I was told that Fergusson has a very well known botanical garden. But I don't know much about it. Somebody who knows should add that. Also, in front of the Main building there used to be a decorative circle that has different varieties of stones on display. Somebody from the geology department can write about it. --Kaveri 16:56, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
