The Ferrari F50 was a mid-engine sports car made by Ferrari. The F50 was introduced in 1995 to celebrate the company's 50th anniversary. The car is a two door, two-seat convertible with a removable hardtop. It has a 4.7 L naturally-aspirated 60-valve V12 engine that was developed from the 3.5L V12 used in the 1992 Ferrari F92 Formula One machine. Its quoted performance figures include a 0-60 mph time of 3.7 seconds, a top speed of 202 mph, and a skidpad lateral acceleration limit of 1.03g. Its styling has drawn comparisons to the Batmobile from the automotive press.

The Ferrari Testarossa F512M, 1996 model year shown in picture. The car is one of the most recognizable of the make in the general public, due to its appearances in movies and television and its cultural association with the decade of the 1980s in America. First produced in 1984, it was featured in the arcade game Out Run and in the TV show Miami Vice. The F512M was the modified and final version of the car, with a 4.9 L flat 12 engine developing 440 hp. Its side strakes were needed because of its unique cooling system architecture.

Scuderia Ferrari is the racing division of the Ferrari enterprise. "Scuderia" is Italian for "stable", and Enzo Ferrari was its founder. The division is entirely concerned with competing in the Formula One Championship. The team's current drivers are Felipe Massa and Kimi Räikkönen, who has signed on to Ferrari for a three-year contract after the retirement of Michael Schumacher following the 2006 season, and its test drivers are Luca Badoer and Marc Gené. Ferrari and Räikkönen are the reigning Constructors' and Drivers' title holders, respectively, after the conclusion of the 2007 season.
