Ferry railway station
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ferry railway station was a railway station in Norfolk. It was on the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway between Sutton Bridge and Wisbech. It was located in Norfolk, as the border curved around the line, taking it briefly out of Cambridgeshire. It was located a few miles to the north of Wisbech. Its location was fairly rural, and a large amount of its traffic would have been farm goods. The line it stood on closed in the Beeching Axe.
