Ferry Rotinsulu (born 28 December 1982 in Palu, Sulawesi Tengah, Indonesia) is an Indonesian footballer. He plays as goalkeeper and he stands 182 cm.
He is one of the Indonesia national football team goalkeeper. In Asian Cup 2007 he was the third goalkeeper after Yandri Pitoy and Markus Horison. He was also the former member of Indonesia U-23 Team at Sea Games 2005 Manila, Philippines. In this event he was the second goalkeeper after Syamsidar.
"I want to be the son of Palu with good contribution for nation by playing football. I wouldn't reach only halfway in my career. I want to be number one goalkeeper." Ferry said.
His performance under goal posts has been described as male beast spider. He is good at reading direction of the ball and very calm in under pressure situation.
Ferry currently plays for his club Sriwijaya FC. He is a spider on the web that's difficult to be perforated by enemies, said Arjuna Rinaldi, Sriwijaya's goalkeeping coach. Trying to be consistent and determined, Ferry wants to bring his club to the top achievement. His efforts came to be paid when Sriwijaya FC won double titles as the champion of Liga Indonesia 2007 and Piala Indonesia 2007.
Born goodlooking, Ferry has proper figure as a movie actor, television star or celebrities. But why he decided to become goalkeeper? The answer to that question is the fact that he is a big fan of Gianluigi Buffon, the Italian goalkeeper. That's why he decided to become footballer for his life career.
