Ferret class destroyer

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Two Ferret class destroyers served with the Royal Navy. HMS Ferret and HMS Lynx were built by Laird, displaced 290 tons and were 210 feet in length. They were armed with one 12-pounder gun and two bow torpedo tubes. They carried a complement of 53.

Except for the bow positioning of the tubes, they were near-identical to the Banshee class also built by Laird at the same time.
