The Fernwren (Oreoscopus gutturalis) is a species of bird in the Pardalotidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Oreoscopus.
It is endemic to Australia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes.
