Ferntree Gully is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the suburb of Ferntree Gully, on the Belgrave railway line. It is in Metcard Zone 2.
Ferntree Gully station is unmanned.

The station is located at the northern end of the Alpine Street level crossing and between Station Street and Underwood Road. Shops are located near the station.
[edit] Facilities
The station consists of two side platforms. Platform 1 contains a large prefabricated concrete building while platform 2 contains a small building. A large Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platform 1, which is able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins. A small Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platform 2.
Both platforms can be accessed via Station Street and Underwood Road.

Ferntree Gully station originally opened on Wednesday, 4 December 1889 as Lower Ferntree Gully. It was renamed to Ferntree Gully in October 1962 before being renamed again to Fern Tree Gully in February 1972 [1], although in recent times most references to the station use the 1962 version[citation needed] despite a lack of evidence that it has ever officially been changed back.
