Fernando Vázquez (Castrofeito, Galicia, October 24, 1954) is a Galician football manager.
Vázquez was an English teacher in the Galician town of Lalín. It was there where he began to get involved with the school's athletics, especially football. He began his professional coaching career in Lalín in 1986, but left there for higher-profile Racing Ferrol in 1991. He took over for many teams from 1994-2004, most of them in La Liga. He took over at the helm for Celta de Vigo, and helped them ascend into La Liga.
Vázquez was relieved of his duties as manager of Celta on 9 April 2007 on the eve of the Galician Derby and with his team embroiled deep in a relegation dogfight.
He currently works as a pundit for Canal+ in their Champion's League coverage. He is also one of the two coaches of the Galician national football team, together with Arsenio Iglesias.
