Fernando Navarro Corbacho (born June 25, 1982 in Barcelona) is a Spanish football defender for RCD Mallorca, preferably a left back, but able to fill in any defensive spot.
Having come through the ranks of giants FC Barcelona, he was on the verge of replacing longtime leftback Sergi Barjuán, who had left for Atlético Madrid in 2002, until a serious knee injury finished off his chances with hometown club.[1] After an uneventul loan at Albacete, he was loaned again, this time to RCD Mallorca, in 2005-06. The next season he was bought by the insular side, having been a mainstay ever since.
National team coach Luis Aragonés called him for the friendly match against France on February 6, 2008, being this his first Spanish national team callup. However, he did not enter the pitch.
