Fernando Muñoz

Fernando Muñoz Garcia (born 30 October 1967 in Seville), known as Nando, is a former Spanish footballer who played for FC Barcelona and was part of their European Cup victory in 1992. He played mostly as a centre back (right footed, he was also utilized on the flank).

Nando started his career with hometown Sevilla FC, leaving in 1990 to join FC Barcelona. In 1992, after two league titles and 64 league appearances, with the addition of the European Cup, he switched to archrival Real Madrid, where he would spend 3 1/2 seasons before moving to Espanyol, in January 1996.

Nando retired aged almost 34, and earned 8 caps for the Spain national football team.
