Fernando Hernández

Fernando Hernández, known in his native Costa Rica as "El Príncipe" (The Prince), is a retired footballer.
He played his entire career for Deportivo Saprissa, and is considered an idol for their fans.
He played during the 60's and 70's with Costa Rica's national team and for Saprissa, winning a total of eleven titles with them, including six consecutive championships from 1972 to 1977, a record both in Costa Rica as well as in the American continent.
His brother, Francisco Hernández, played with that Saprissa's midfield too.
