Fernando Chavez

Fernando Chavez (born February 20, 1949) is an Mexican American born in Delano California lawyer and social activist. He is the eldest child of the farm labor organizer César Chávez.

Currently, he tours the country as a motivational speaker, addressing public interest groups and universities about his father's legacy. He also runs the law practice of Fernando F. Chavez in San Jose, California and [& De Leon, P.A.] in Miami, Florida. He received his bachelor's degree from Antioch University, his master's from San Jose State University, and his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law.
