[edit] Broken Link
I understand your purpose in adding that link; however, it is inappropriate to add a broken link to the main article as a suggestion. Please don't do it. --Iriseyes 14:51, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
There are actually a couple of solutions. I believe you have already made note of it on the talk page, which is good, but also you can request that the page is created, or leave a hidden note in the article where you think it should go. Did someone already create the page? I think maybe they did, in which case none of this matters. Wikipedia is pretty strict about what goes in articles and what doesn't; in the end it doesn't really matter in articles like George W. Bush because the real battle is with trolls, not with useful people like you. --Iriseyes 03:24, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Euler
Obviously, I was reverting your edit. Are you trying to tell me that you seriously believe he's wearing his laundry? Come on... Pascal.Tesson 05:03, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure that noone ever imagined someone taking that joke seriously. And I also have a hard time believing you made that edit in good faith. Pascal.Tesson 05:15, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- I sure hope you have more judgement than that in your future edits. Do you really think someone would pose for a portrait with their laundry on their head? Of course you don't, your edit is just wasting other people's time. Pascal.Tesson 14:51, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
A follow-up note: I'm not pursuing it any farther, but I still honestly believe it's laundry. Fephisto 22:48, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wikireason
Sure, I'll let you know. I'm trying to set up a system to collect names for people who are interested in restarting the project. Maybe I should just direct them to my Wikipedia page...I hadn't thought of that! AdamRetchless 03:36, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Note on references for anarcho-capitalism
Thank you... I'll remeber that very useful section if I in the future would want to reference any edits I do regarding anarcho-capitalism. Lord Metroid 23:04, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Earth year
- What's wrong with my source?/What's a sidereal year anyways? Fephisto 01:43, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
The sidereal year is covered on it's own article page. By definition it is the orbital period of the Earth. I believe you were using the mean tropical year. Sorry. — RJH (talk) 14:39, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- :Thanks for reply. Fephisto 20:14, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for the follow-up. — RJH (talk) 20:29, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] User: Anarcho-Capitalism unblock
I saw you unblock User: Anarcho-capitalism who was blocked as being thought of as Billy Ego's sock-puppet.
I was wondering if you could look over User: Instantiayion, he was also banned as a Billy Ego sock-puppet, I was having a debate with him over in Talk:Planned economy that I'm pretty sure was about to be resolved until the sudden ban.
Thanks, Fephisto 12:45, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
- Um... What? I'm not an administrator; I can't unblock anyone. I'm not saying I wouldn't have in that case, seeing how the evidence against him was flimsy at best, but I'm afraid you've got the wrong guy. Rogue 9 09:04, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Boom Mike.PNG)
Thanks for uploading Image:Boom Mike.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 16:10, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- It feels silly replying to a bot and I don't know why I am, but: it's fine. Some other guy edited my picture to make it quite better. Fephisto 18:10, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Neenah
Hi,
I saw your query on Mouser's user page from last December, and it doesn't appear that he had a chance to answer. You see Neenah everywhere because Neenah Foundry Company [1] has been a fairly successful company since 1872, save going through bankruptcy a few years ago.
I have not yet been on a tour of their company, but it's on my list of things to do. I have popped many of their covers to see what was underneath, including a few in Ames. A friend of mine actually named her cat Neenah because of the covers.
There is far more information out there on manhole covers than you could imagine. Products, as well; you can get manhole cover coasters, cufflinks, earrings, etc. I have a full size (and weight) cover sitting in my yard that I got from the hostel in Minneapolis when they were cleaning out their basement. It'll be a coffee table eventually. A very heavy coffee table.
