[edit] A little about me

I'm a long time User on wikipedia. I started out here when wikipedia articles would usually turn up as one of the first results for something I was searching for on a search engine.
I would usually go on to read other articles, and spend far too much time reading about obscure/pointless junk that I had been wondering about for a long time. It was a long time before I got around to editing or creating a user account. And to be honest I recommend new users do the same. At least until they have properly read Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines, and figured out Wiki markup.

[edit] Where I stand on Wikipedia

I think wikipedia is both great and incredibly flawed at the same time, the latter especially when it comes to nationalistic/religious/political issues, as the Northern Irish flag debacle so colorfully illustrated.

I'll add more to this at a later date
