Fenway Sports Group ("FSG") is a company headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts established by New England Sports Ventures in 2004. With Mike Dee as its president, FSG soon entered into an exclusive sponsorship sales agreement with Boston College - the first of many relationships established by FSG.[7]
Fenway Sports Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of New England Sports Ventures ("NESV"). In addition to Fenway Sports Group NESV owns the Boston Red Sox, Fenway Park, 80 percent of the New England Sports Network, and 50 percent of NASCAR team Roush Fenway Racing (from Roush Racing on February 14, 2007).[8]
