Fenton Ramsahoye

Sir Fenton Ramsahoye is a Guyanese lawyer and politician who served for over twenty years in Antigua and Barbuda, and holds the record for making the most appearances before the Privy Council in the Caribbean[1] .
He served as a Member of Parliament for over 10 years between 1961 and 1973 and as Attorney General of Guyana for five years.
Fenton Ramsahoye was at the forefront of the independence movement and knighted for his achievements in 2006 by Governor General Sir James Carlisle during a ceremony at Government House in Antigua.
