Fenny Drayton

Fenny Drayton (formerly Drayton-in-the-Clay) is a village in Leicestershire in the district of Hinckley and Bosworth. It is on the A444 road north of Nuneaton close to its crossroads with the A5 (the Roman road called Watling Street). The village is also crossed by another Roman Road.

The Ordnance Survey state that the nearby Lindley Hall Farm at SP362964 is the centre point of England.

Fenny Drayton was the childhood home of George Fox, founder of the Religious Society of Friends.

The village used to have its own public house, originally called Casa Blanca but later renamed The Royal Haven. The original site is now a housing estate.
