The Frommer Femáru 37M is a Hungarian automatic pistol based on a design by Rudolf Frommer. It was an improvement over the earlier Frommer 29M. In German service during World War II it was known as Pistole 37(u), pistole M 37 Kal. 7,65mm or P37. The "pistole M 37 Kal. 7,65mm" variant is the version produced under German occupation during World War II. The main difference between this and the other variants is that the occupied version was produced under more strain on the employees at the factory due to the rate by which they wanted them produced. 150 - 300,000 pistols where completed this way. Albeit the somewhat lighter construction or partially finished post war models, it was still a reliable pistol.
