[edit] American sculptors?

Felix de Weldon was born in Vienna, Austria. Even though he was based in the United States while doing his sculpting work, should he be categorized as an American sculptor? Can't sleep, clown will eat me 05:14, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

  • He served honorably in the United States Navy as an enlistee during World War II. He became a citizen in 1945. Is that American enough? He trained as a sculptor in Europe. His most notable works were crafted in the USA. T.E. Goodwin 08:48, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
