Fellowship Baptist College (FBC) is one of the fastest growing institution of higher learning in the country today, a private, non-stock, non-profit and sectarian institution located in the fast progressing City of Kabankalan in Negros Occidental, Philippines.

Humbly started as Fellowship Baptist Academy in 1954 it was founded by a group of Baptist lay-leaders, ministers and missionaries of the Visayan Fellowship of Fundamental Baptist Churches ( now WVFFBC - Western Visayas Fellowship of Fundamental Baptist Churches) with an enrollment of 212 students it faithfully carried out its mission. In 1957 it was given government recognition, several years later as the need for educational expansion of the Christian youths, decisive steps were taken by the administration to convert the academy to a full-fledged college and in 1989 it was realized. Midwifery was its first post-secondary course which until now it remains to be one of its strongest program that has put the school into the national scene when it topped the Midwifery licensure exam for 3 times and for which became the foundation of its Health Sciences Programs that had created its own wave in the December 2007 Nurses Board Exam when its pioneering board takers ranked No.1 in Negros Occidental [[1]] and one of the Top Performers among neophyte nursing schools in the country. The reaping of excellence was also shared when Teachers Licensure Exam for Elementary Education claims it 2nd consecutive 100% passing rate.

In August 2004 marks another milestone to FBC when it celebrated its Golden Jubilee. [[2]] A festivity attended by the homecoming of its legacy, alumni from here and abroad and highlighted by different programs.

Today, graduates of the school have spread far and wide not only in the Philippines but in other countries. Some are leaders occupying positions in various field of human endeavors. Some accepted the highest calling as ministers, evangelist and missionaries here and abroad.

And this coming January 2009, FBC will celebrate her 55th Year of God's Faithfulness.
