Felix Browder

Felix E. Browder (1927-) is a United States mathematician. He is the eldest son of Earl Browder and brother of William Browder.
Felix Browder received his doctorate from Princeton University in 1948. He is a professor of mathematics at Rutgers University
Browder was the recipient of the 1999 National Medal of Science. He also served as president of the American Mathematical Society from 1999 to 2000.
