Felix Bloxsom, often misspelt as Felix Bloxom, was born in Sydney, Australia.[1] He is a professional musician, best known for his drumming and percussion playing.
Since completing Jazz studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2000, Felix has worked with a diverse group of artists across many styles and genres. These artists include Sia Furler, The Sleepy Jackson, Jamie Lidell, The Presets, Leona Naess, Elliott Yamin, Sneaky Sound System, Alex Lloyd, Adam Cohen, David Bridie, Katie Noonan, Mike Nock, Greg Osby, Tim Ries, James Muller, Paul Grabowsky along with many others.[2] Felix currently lives in Los Angeles, California, where he performs as a session musician and composes music for advertisements.[3][4]
Felix was awarded Young Australian Jazz Artist of the Year at the 2004 Bell Awards[5] and 1st place in the National Jazz Awards at the 2004 Wangaratta Festival of Jazz.[6]
