A Claretian Missionary priest, the first Filipino school director for Claret School of Quezon City.

[edit] Family

Hailing from Tangcasan Sur, Loay, Bohol, Felimon Libot is he 7th child of Gregorio Libot and of Restituta Pequit. Felimon is the youngest of the four brothers -- Abundio, Felix, Artemeo, and he. Aside from his three elder brothers, he also has three elder sisters: Simplicia, Eugenia,and Hipolita. He only has one younger sibling, his younger sister Diosdada.

He studied his elementary and graduated with honor at Concepcion Elementary School. His secondary, also with honor, at Holy Trinity Academy, in Poblacion Loay. He got his bachelor degree of Philosophy at Claret College of Philosophy in Quezon City, and his ecclesiastical degree of Sacred Theology at Loyola School of Theology, Ateneo de Manila University.

He was considered the spiritual father of Immaculate Concepcion Chapel (now a Parish) of Concepcion, Loay. When he was ordained as priest by Jaime Cardinal Sin in March 1989. The people of the Concepcion were so glad to welcome him as heir son. Whenever Felimon went home for vacation, he was there to serve the people of his village as a priest. NOw that Immaculate Concepcion is now a parish, he is so supportive to the parish priest there whenever he is in his hometown for vacation.

Libot was assigned as formator of Claret College of Philosophy, school director in Claret school in Basilan and Zamboanga, missionary priest in Spain and Cuba, before becoming director of Claret School of Quezon City.

He served as director of the said institution from June 2001 to March 2006. In June 2006,he became the director of Claret College of Isabela, Basilan.
