Felicia Chin Jing Xuan (simplified Chinese: 陈靓瑄; pinyin: Chen Jing Xuan), formerly known as Felicia Chin Foon Ling (simplified Chinese: 陈凤玲; pinyin: Chén Fèng Līng) before February 2, 2008, born October 24, 1984 is a television actress from Singapore.

[edit] Early life
Felicia Chin studied in Tanjong Katong Girls' School and Victoria Junior College.[1]
Chin was also an avid softball player while in secondary school and junior college. At the age of 15, she made the national softball team. She was the team's youngest player. In 1999, Felicia Chin represented Singapore in the Women's Asian Softball Competition and in 2000, the Asian Youth Softball Competition.
She also won the 'A' Division softball gold medal with Victoria Junior College in 2002. From 1998 to 2001, she was part of the Combined Schools team, National Youth team and National teams. Eventually, she left the national team to concentrate on her studies. At 18, she stopped playing softball competitively.
Although she obtained fairly good grades in her 'A' levels, she decided to forgo a confirmed place in the National University of Singapore Arts Faculty in order to focus on her acting career.[2]

Chin took part in the Singapore television talent hunt Star Search in 2003 and was crowned champion, thus beginning her acting career. She made her debut TV appearance in the SARS drama Always On My Mind with top actress Fann Wong.[3]
Felicia started out with mainly supporting roles until three years later she finally received her first local leading role in the idol drama Let It Shine [4].
Felicia is the brand ambassador for Vitagen, a health beverage. She is said to have been chosen ahead of other actresses due to her healthy image and her popularity among all age groups.[5] She also starred in many commercials such as Wisma Atria, Silky Girl and Whisper Ads. [6]
Felicia is seen as one of the fast rising female stars of her generation, with many tipping her as the next Queen of Caldecott Hill. Felicia also is one of the Mediacorp seven princesses with Fiona, Jesseca, Jeanette, Rui En, Joanne, and Dawn.
Felicia recently changed her Chinese name from Chen Feng Ling to Chen Jing Xuan (陈靓瑄) under the advice of a Taiwanese fortune teller.

The tall, slim actress is a regular jogger at Bedok Reservoir, where she makes it a point to jog at least three times a week, covering 5 km to 8 km at a stretch. She also enjoys swimming, cycling, roller-blading and wakeboarding.
Felicia lost her father to cancer at the age of 17.
