Anissa, also known as Féerique and basiolum is a rabid classics and linguistics enthusiast currently residing in Texas. I would like to move back east or overseas within a couple of years. The handle Féerique means "magical" or "fairylike" in French, a word I found rather enchanting. As for Wiki-usefulness, I can translate the languages at the side, particularly well with Latin, and I contribute particularly to historical and Eastern Orthodox articles. She loves whomever fixed her userboxen.

As would only make sense for a classics/linguistic lover, my intention is to become a Classical Linguistics professor. Those I speak are listed above; I study precious little and Ancient Greek and would love to learn Hebrew, Coptic, Syriac, Old Church Slavonic, Russian, and Italian, and possibly Arabic.
[edit] Interests
My non-linguistic interests include Ancient history, Iconography, painting, drawing, and at times singing.
