The result was to merge "Federal Form 4473" into "Form 4473". -- Ryan4314 12:03, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
It looks like we have another article on this same topic, Form 4473. Looks like it should be merged into the article here, but I could be convinced just as easily to merge into the other direction, provided all the "What links here" were fixed. Yaf 05:55, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- I wonder if both couldn't be merged into Federal Firearms License. Both are small enough to constitute a section under that article, but stubish by themselves. —Thernlund (Talk | Contribs) 08:22, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

- I'd say merge them both to here. It avoids having to disabig them later if another type of 4473 came along. - O^O 03:02, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
FFL and 4473 are quite different WRT what type of firearm is being bought.
- I vote that "Form 4473" be redirected to this article.
- In regards to the above unsigned comment by IP user 71.116.166.228, if there is a difference between a "Form 4473" and a "Federal Form 4473" it is not stated in the "Form 4473" article, nor is there a reference stating such a difference. Ryan4314 01:50, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

- In retrospect, I believe the "Federal Form 4473" article to be superior. However I believe "Form 4473" is the correct article name. I propose merging a few small elements from the "Form 4473" article to the "Federal Form 4473", then moving the "Federal Form 4473" article to the "Form 4473" namespace Ryan4314 10:38, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

- Right, I've looked it up and it seems the easiest thing to do would be to merge almost all of this article to the properly named "Form 4473". I've seen "Form 4473" mentioned several times, even on the ATF site but am yet to see the term "Federal Form 4473" anywhere. It's been 4 months since someone last commented on this discussion, so I think we can bring it to an end. Ryan4314 12:03, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Race required
Is it true this is the only federal government form where you are legally required to identify your race?141.197.8.183 19:43, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
