Federico Elduayén (born June 25, 1977) is an Uruguayan football goalkeeper, who currently plays for U. de Concepción. His nickname is "Vikingo" (Viking).
He began his career in the youth squads of Peñarol. He made his professional debut in 1999. Elduayén participated in three straight Copa Libertadores with Peñarol from 2003-2005. He was the team's first team goalkeeper until 2005 when he lost his job and signed for Universidad de Concepción in Chile. Ever since joining the Chilean side he has been the starting goalkeeper. He renewed his contract until the year 2010.
He played for the Uruguay national football team and was a participant at the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
