Federico Almerares is an Argentine football forward. He was born on May 2, 1985, in the city of Mar del Plata in the Buenos Aires Province of Argentina. He currently plays for Club Atlético River Plate of the Primera Division Argentina.
Almerares made his debut for River Plate in 2003, but has not established himself in the first team, only making three appearances between 2005 and March 2008 when he went on trial with Swedish Allsvenskan club Djurgårdens IF.[1]
