Federation of South African Trade Unions

The Federation of South African Trade Unions (FOSATU) was a labour organisation formed in April 1979 to build non-racial industrial worker's block committed firmly to strong factory floor organization. It was merged into the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) in 1985.[1]
