Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is responsible for the 6th District of the Federal Reserve, which covers Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and parts of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Located in Atlanta, Georgia, it has branches in Birmingham, Alabama, Jacksonville, Florida, Miami, Florida, Nashville, Tennessee, and New Orleans, Louisiana.

The bank is currently located at 1000 Peachtree Street NE. Before 2001, the bank was located on 104 Marietta Street NW, in Downtown Atlanta. The original location is now where the State Bar of Georgia is located.

The president as of March 1, 2007 is Dennis P. Lockhart.
