Federación Mexicana de Esgrima

The Mexican Fencing Federation (Federación Mexicana de Esgrima (FME)) is the ruling body of fencing in Mexico, operates under Federal Government Office CONADE. Based in Mexico City. The current president of the federation is Jorge Castro Rea, who used to fence épee. The previous president was Lourdes Lozano; she fenced foil. The Mexican fencing federation works with CONADE (Comision Nacional del Deporte) to try to get the most money available to be able to help fencing in Mexico. They organize competitions training camps and trips to other countries.
