Federação Anarquista Gaúcha

The Federação Anarquista Gaúcha, or FAG, was formed November 18, 1995 in one of the reunions of the Federação Anarquista Uruguaia, in Montevideo. Of anarchist and socialist orientation, it defends federalism and self management. Today this federation is spread in many cities of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, with its main location in Porto Alegre, capital of the state. It works with popular movements especially from Restinga, one of the biggest quarters of the city.
