Problems listening to the file? See media help.A very old recording of Kimi ga Yo, also hard to hear a clear recording of the lyrics from historic plates. The recording of the plate was done in 1930, but the author is not listed in English. The record plate is number K1-A from Polyfar Recording. The plate manufacturer Nippon Polydor Chikuonki Co. (Tokyo, Japan). It is currently used in Kimi ga Yo.
