  • Oppose Too tightly cropped at top and left, amazing amount of CA - might support if the image were added to chromatic aberration Mfield (talk) 23:05, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
I don't think that is CA, otherwise the bridge would be fringed as well. Thisglad (talk) 07:04, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Oppose - it is chromatic aberration, remember that it only happens with certain wavelengths of light and is not so noticeable in dark areas. the CA is also visible on streetlights and a few building corners in the bottom left. Either way, it's not high enough quality for FP. On the image page it's fine, but a really stunning photograph of fireworks needs to be taken on special equipment, or taken so that the fireworks themselves aren't completely blown but the background is way darker. —Vanderdeckenξφ 09:09, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
    • You shouldn't need special equipment. Just close the aperture more (to avoid blowing the fireworks) and cover the front of the lens with a black cloth when there aren't fireworks in the air (to ensure that the background is not distractingly bright). Thegreenj 19:53, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Oppose, even if this is the full image it reminds me of a poor cropping job. Far too tight on some of the fireworks, unfortunately. gren グレン 15:42, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Oppose The bridge seems to have a lot of noise covering it. Other than that, it's a decent photo - but not a FP. crassic![talk] 23:54, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Oppose Crop too tight. SpencerT♦C 11:15, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
