[edit] Neoregelia
This stuning photograph shows a bright purple and green Neoregelia at its core with inflorescences (the purple flowers) being sustained by trapped rainwater. The colours and proximity of the photo make it especially beautiful.

- Oppose. Somewhat blurry at full resolution. Also, it is probably more encyclopedic to show the whole
flowerplant. --Pharaoh Hound 15:52, 12 June 2006 (UTC) - Comment: Neoregelias are plants, not flowers; this picture shows the centre of the plant where water is captured.

- Comment: Very well, it's not a flower, but I stand by my original statement about the framing. --Pharaoh Hound 17:05, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- Support. Interesting photo that illustrates a concept. Very colorful as well. - Dessie
- Oppose. Illustrative, but somewhat blurry, details washed out by flash, and not the best composition I've seen. --NoahElhardt 16:48, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- Oppose The framing on Image:Neoregelia-sp.jpg is much better. Too bad its small. -Ravedave 17:27, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- Support. Interesting shot- I like the bright colors and the angle. These colors contrast each other nicely. Great shot! Christine

- Oppose Its the kind of photo that only a sockpuppet would love. SteveHopson 01:05, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- Comment. Feel free to remove this photograph especially with the allegations surrounding so called "sockpuppets." -- Garrett Rock 03:55, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- Oppose I would prefer a better framing. Advanced 16:56, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- Support. DO NOT REMOVE THIS PICTURE!! This is GREAT! And encyclopedic! This picture is not only informing, but gorgeous too. I vote keep it on.
- Comment I think it would be better if it had more perspective to get your bearings... but, it's good... not sure if it's FP material. gren グレン 18:21, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
