  • Oppose Just another cloud with a hole in it... No enc to speak of. --Janke | Talk 06:45, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Comment well that's what a hurricane basically is Σαι ( Talk) 11:51, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Oppose Its a great photo, but I've seen better photos of this kind. I'm also not sure what value it adds to the articles. --ErgoSum88 (talk) 07:07, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
  • support A great photo and provides excellent visual aid to the article. --St.daniel Talk 13:41, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
  • oppose It's blurry in the bottom left. At full resolution it lacks sharpness (is that what artifacts look like?). Finally, NASA has heaps of hurricane photos better than this one. --Uncle Bungle (talk) 20:40, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Comment I'd like to see them. Σαι ( Talk) 05:23, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Well, here's a much better one, showing quite a bit more what a hurricane is all about, and it was not promoted to FP status, either... --Janke | Talk 08:50, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

We're a bit sick of hurricane nominations. The shenanigans with the nomination don't help either. MER-C 13:21, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Oppose It seems a bit too close. Can't truly tell how large the hurricane is due to nothing clouds. crassic![talk] 03:01, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Oppose. Perhaps could work well in an article about 'eye of the storm' or something similar, but as a portrayal of a full huricane, the angle is far too narrow. Spinach Dip 19:18, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Not promoted --jjron (talk) 15:01, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
