[edit] Krypton
Found this article and added references and brought it to GA. I would like to know if it is FA-class yet. Tarret 20:04, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
- STRONG Oppose Lead is way to short, article isn't visually appealing, and the prose is anything but fabulous. For example, the section beginning with "There are 31 known isotopes of krypton.[9]" has 10 sentences and uses the "to be" verb 14 times. Finally, what does this article have to do with Superman ;-) Balloonman 20:54, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose. The size of the lead reflects the coverage of the whole article, which is very minimal. Check out Hydrogen to get an idea of what we're looking for. I don't intend to be mean, but the best way to determine if this article is "FA-class" yet is to bring it over to peer review. This keeps the backlog here down to a minimum (incidentally it boosts the backlog over there...but I think this one is more important ;-D). JHMM13 21:14, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
- Opose Definitely not comprehensive, some sections are still stubs. ShadowHalo 11:29, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose - sorry, the prose needs a workover (i.e. copyedit) - the english is clunky and doesn't flow well in places. cheers, Casliber | talk | contribs 10:09, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose Not near the standards as-of-yet, although Balloonman ALLCAPS response was a little on the uncivil side. No need to be blunt and offensive, editors often put a lot of work into an article and aren't aware of the shortcomings. Just list them and try to be civil. Aaron Bowen 13:52, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
