[edit] Donut (Red vs. Blue)
Seems to cover everything required. The only issue could be it's length. Buc 21:00, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
Support per Buc; this is a job well done.Cliff smith 22:23, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

- Mild object -- first, I wish more could be said about the notability of this character but I suppose this may be as far as that goes, but it's hard for me to get excited about this topic. Specific criticisms: (1) the "role in the plot" section has two issues. One, the end is somewhat abrupt, and the coverage of season 4 and beyond is very short - was the character not involved as much? If so, could that be said? And, are the minor points about episodes 77, 81, and 88 critical points in the plot? Because to me, they look minor. Two, I was confused at how Tex apparently was killed in one episode and reappeared later; could this be clarified? (2) The prose could be improved: it holds together but I felt that in many places it was written by fans who didn't feel the need to explain things an outsider might need to know (like the Tex thing, for instance). (3) I'm not wild about how much the sourcing depends on the official material: I'd like to see more from reliable, independent sources. The prose and the sourcing are both minimally okay for featured status in my book if my 1st criticism is addressed, but I wouldn't be a very enthusiastic support without better prose & sourcing. - As the editor who reworked of the prose into its current form, I've realized for a while that there are some things that could use a better explanation. The problem is that I haven't had time to revisit this in a while; it was kind of a surprise to me that this was nominated for FA. Off the top of my head, no, there really aren't many other sources available; this may or may not change once the series supposedly ends in a couple of months (six more episodes remain). Season 5 is mostly incomplete because the character wasn't really involved in the first part, and there have been enough plot twists since then that haven't yet been resolved. I won't have time to look at this seriously for a couple of days (I'm a procrastinator who still has yet to finish up tax returns), but, after that, I might be able to take a look at the prose. — TKD::Talk 04:04, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
- Object, at the moment, per comprehensiveness and prose concerns that I stated in my reply to Mangojuice; as stated above, I might be able to work on these soon. As someone heavily involved with the article, I honestly wonder whether it might have been be better to wait until the series ends after six more episodes (episode 94 was just released, and the creators have announced that episode 100 would be the end). Not that current series have been barred from FA on stability grounds in the past, but I thought that I'd bring this point up in the interests of full disclosure. — TKD::Talk 04:04, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
- Comment The article begins;
Private Franklin Delano Donut is a main fictional character in Rooster Teeth Productions' machinima comic science fiction video series Red vs. Blue. Voiced by Dan Godwin, Donut first appears in episode 3 of season 1 as a new recruit, whose garrulous personality tends to annoy other members of the Blood Gulch Red Team, a group of soldiers engaged in a futuristic civil war against the Blue Team.
