[edit] Image:Jen_Taylor.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Jen_Taylor.gif. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Hbdragon88 21:34, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
- I have resolved this issue (at last) by photographing Jen Talyor in person and with her consent that the image will be used on her Wikipedia page.[1] - Fearless Son 23:18, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Merging the Ace Combat pages
I'm all for it but the one about the nations and organizations (I forgot the name) is 117,927 bytes or 115 kilobytes long! It goes against several Wiki policies and unless you planing on fixing it it will be split into the seperate articles again, something I and many others don't want to see happen. I'm going to check the super weapon one also.Sam ov the blue sand 00:20, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- We are in the process of doing so. We already split off the military composition of each nation into a seperate page, and will be doing the same with history. As you can see on that page, history takes up a conisderable portion of it. This should serve to allievate the problem. - Fearless Son 00:27, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- Good to see you're doing something about it many others would have left it like that. I hope you can shorten it to at least 60 Kilo bytes but 50 is my goal.Sam ov the blue sand 00:56, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- I will certainly try. Look at the discussion on the Category talk:Ace Combat page. I have outlined some of the criteria that I want to achieve with these articles, including goals for reducing the file size. 50kb would be ideal, but I will be happy as long as it is small enough to not warrent a size warning. - Fearless Son 07:47, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Hello, I saw a lot of activity on the AC, ACZ, and the Aircraft of AC3 pages in the past few hours. Perhaps it's time we linked up to fix the probs? The AC3 page has been nominated for deletion. Eaglestorm 02:27, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
- Sounds good. I will have to check those out. - Fearless Son 04:53, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Redirect of Orbital Frame Anubis
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Orbital Frame Anubis, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Orbital Frame Anubis is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Orbital Frame Anubis, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:ZOE_LEV_Mecha.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:ZOE_LEV_Mecha.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast 21:58, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
- I have added a rationale and removed the template. Please excuse me that, I uploaded it while I was still an inexperienced editor, and thus did not include a rationale. - Fearless Son 20:57, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Template:ZOE See Also
A tag has been placed on Template:ZOE See Also requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).
Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 20:48, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of History in Ace Combat
I have nominated History in Ace Combat, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/History in Ace Combat. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. [edit] Superweapons of Ace Combat
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Superweapons of Ace Combat, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Superweapons of Ace Combat. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 17:41, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Cagemidwell.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Cagemidwell.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:03, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
