Fearnavigatr is a Swedish gamer with preference of Nintendo systems. Other interests (while not necessarily a regular part of his Wikipedia contributions) include the annual Eurovision Song Contest and comics of the Scrooge McDuck universe.

[edit] Fearnavigatr (2004 - Present)

First used in the MMORPG RuneScape. Based on the songs Fear of the Dark and Ghost of the Navigator by British heavy metal band Iron Maiden. The "o" in "navigator" was removed due to a twelve letter limit in RuneScape's naming policy. Has since become the standard screen name of this user in the majority of internet sites and online games.

[edit] jigglypuffer (2001 - 2004)

First actual screen name. First used in the video game forum VGF and after that standardized as screen name. Based (obviously) on the Pokémon Jigglypuff. The suffix was added in an (occasionally failed) attempt to avoid gender confusion. The incorrect capitalization, while originally a mistake on the user's part, became a prominent and stressed part of the name's spelling. Usage of this name became discontinued after the creation of Fearnavigatr, when jigglypuffer turned out to be occupied in RuneScape, but the name has remained on any site or community where it was used before the change.

[edit] FunkyDude (2003 - Present)

Side name used exclusively within the Donkey Kong Universe community. Based on the character Funky Kong from the Donkey Kong series of video games.

[edit] Joppejoppa (2000 - 2001, 2003 - Present)

Used exclusively on Swedish sites. First used on the social networking site Skunk, but "immortalized" after resurfacing for LunarStorm, another networking site, in 2003. Based on "Joppa", a very scarecly used nickname for the user.
