Fearns Community Sports College is a public co-educational secondary school in Bacup, Lancashire, England. The school caters to children of all abilities between the ages of 11 and 16 years. The school holds specialist Sports College status.

Fearns offers various courses, to match the talents and abilities of all pupils, leading to qualifications at all levels. The school also offers clubs and extra-curricular activities. The current headmaster is Mark Smallwood, who has been in the job since 2003, replacing the retiring Neil Thornley. Fearns Community Sports College also has multiple sports facilities.

School Discipline has improved over the last decade. During lunch time at Fearns Sports College the gates are all guarded by members of the school staff.

The school's education was rated Grade 3 (Satisfactory) by Her Majesty’s Inspectors of Schools. Some of the recommended areas of improvement were:
- Improve the quality of all teaching by disseminating best practice across the school.
- Ensure that all teachers set challenging individual targets for pupils to support them in improving their learning.
- Improve the attendance and behavior of the small minority of pupils with negative attitudes to learning.[1]
