[edit] History

Fearnes Coaches originally began general carriers and charter bus operator founded by William Fearne and William Borlase however William Borlase pulled out of the partnership in the early 1920s.[2] By 1929 William Fearne created the first route and timetable in Wagga Wagga which started between the Wagga suburb of Turvey Park and Docker Street which was extended to North Wagga[2] Clive Fearne, the son of William Fearne brought the company in 1936 until his death in 1989. The business was then past down to Clive's son Garry Fearne who was a pioneer in the coach industry. Garry passed away in 1996 leaving the business to his wife Audrey whom is still carrying on the family tradition.[2]
