FC Vanadzor

FC Vanadzor is an Armenian football club from Vanadzor. The club made their professional debut as Avtogen Vanadzor in the 1993 Armenian First League, where they participated in Group 2 out of two groups fighting for promotion. They finished in seventh position of their group which was not enough to gain promotion to the Armenian Premier League. As a result they were forced to remain in the First League and changed their name into FC Vanadzor. As of today they never reached the highest level of Armenian football.
